Frisco's after-work crowd splits two ways: downtown Frisco, the Star campus and the Main Street grid — or the Parkway corridor, the Stonebriar blocks running down Dallas Parkway to Legacy West. Same city, different night. Here is how their happy hours compare.

Downtown: the Star + Main Street

Tupelo Honey Frisco (6725 Winning Drive, The Star) posts Hoot & Holler Happy Hour Mon–Fri 4–6: half-off starters, $2 off drafts, bottles, and cans, $2 off glasses of wine, and $5 well spirits, with daily deals including $3 classic gin or vodka martinis and cosmopolitans Tuesday and a $6 Tupelo Honey margarita Thursday. Didi's Downtown (7210 West Main Street) posts Community Social Hour Wed–Fri + Sun 3–6, dine-in only: $7 across the board — martini, gimlet, margarita, ranch water, pom daiquiri, Moscow mule, old fashioned, house red and white wine, and $7 snacks from fried pickles to the quarter-pound cheeseburger. Downtown is the compact night: short drives, early clocks, flat pricing.

The Parkway: Stonebriar to Legacy West

The corridor runs longer and starts earlier. Blue Goose Cantina Frisco (Stonebriar) posts Mon–Fri 2:30–6:30 with $2 Rock and frozen margaritas Tuesday, $5 La Flaca skinny margaritas Wednesday, and $3 Rock and frozen margaritas plus $3 well drinks and $3 queso Thursday. Bottled in Bond (Stonebriar) posts Bonded Hour Tue–Fri 4–7 and Sunday 3–close with $8 vintage cocktails — sazerac, champagne cocktail, cosmopolitan, sunset sangria, mojito, vieux carré, paloma, bee's knees. Sixty Vines Plano (Legacy West edge) posts Mon–Fri 3–6 in the bar and lounge with $3 off 5oz pours of select wines, $3 off specialty cocktails, the Wheatley espresso martini, and brews, plus $2 off shared plates. Haywire Plano (Legacy West) posts Mon–Fri 2–6 on all three floors with $7 drinks and $7 bites. The Parkway is the crawl night: more rooms, wider bands, easier second stops.

The call

One early start: the Parkway — Haywire's Mon–Fri 2–6 and Blue Goose's 2:30–6:30 open before anything downtown. One cheap-and-simple night: downtown — Didi's flat $7 board Wed–Fri + Sun 3–6 needs no calendar. Cocktail night: the Parkway again — Bottled in Bond's $8 vintage list Tue–Fri 4–7 plus Sunday 3–close is the only pour program of its kind in the directory.
